A-frame is as per the name implies formed in the shape of the letter A with two end of the route platform colored in bright colors with the objective of the dog touching them with the paws while running through it.

Dogwalk is a ramp-like design layout with the centre portion raised and that requires the dog to touch contact zones that are painted on it.

Teeter-totter is a seesaw like design with the centre of the plank on a pivot, with one specific end of it designed to always returns to the ground when there is no load on both ends. Both end are done in bright colors serving as contact zone purpose.

There are also other available but less popular ones like;

Crossover, which feature four descending ramps from a 4 foot high platform which requires the dog to ascend and descend the ramp correctly as instructed by their trainers. It is one of the less popular obstacle because it isn't allowed in some organisations.

And Tunnel, which is a 3 to 6 metres tubular obstacle around 2 feet diameter that allows the dog to manuever through its flexible interior.
